Dr. Bhagwan Das M. Pathai
Dr. Bhagwan Das M. Pathai has dedicated six decades of his life to the health of the children of Larkana and Sindh. As a former Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at Chandka Medical College, he trained generations of medical students and nurses who now serve in hospitals across Pakistan and abroad. He founded Pathai Hospital together with his late wife Dr. Bhagwant Devi Pathai as the physical expression of their shared commitment to serving humanity through medicine. Now in his 79th year, he continues to guide the hospital with the same energy and conviction that have defined his entire professional life. Dr. Tulsi Das (Rakesh Kumar) Pathai
Dr. Tulsi Das represents the future of Pathai Hospital. The son of its two founders, he is completing his Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) in Paediatrics at SMBBMU, Larkana — the same institution where his mother Dr. Bhagwant Devi Pathai taught and trained doctors for decades, and where his father served as Assistant Professor of Paediatrics. As Executive Director, he manages the daily operations of the institution while continuing his specialist training. He carries into his medical career the values his parents embodied: clinical excellence, compassion for every patient, financial integrity, and the unwavering commitment to serve humanity that is the founding motto of this hospital.

Dr. Bhagwant Devi Pathai
Dr. Bhagwant Devi Pathai was a physician of extraordinary ability and a teacher of rare dedication. She taught nurses, undergraduate MBBS students, postgraduate DGO and MCPS candidates, and FCPS aspirants at Chandka Medical College, Larkana, for decades. She was appointed Examiner by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan — one of the most respected appointments in Pakistani medical education. She spoke and wrote nine languages. She built her home with her honest pension and never paid a bribe. She was the co-founder of this hospital, the mother of its Executive Director, and the inspiration for the Dr. Bhagwant Devi Pathai Memorial Hospital her husband is building in her name.
